GIRLS TO THE FRONT: riot grrl cover show and benefit!
This show is a benefit for WOMEN AWARE, a New Brunswick-based shelter and center that services and supports survivors of domestic violence. Rutgers-affiliated feminist group Radigals and the Rutgers Women’s Center will be tabling information. On the Dot feminist collective just started organizing in January 2011, and this will be the first event we have collaborated on. We are extremely excited to start networking with other feminists in the New Jersey area! Girl Gang Gig New Brunswick and On the Dot Collective is Nneka Anyaoku, Jess Wadkins, Sayuri Gomez, and Khristina Acosta.
